Dr. Munirat Antoinette Lecky, popularly known as “Anto Lecky”, born 12th of December, 1989, sprung to fame on becoming a semi-finalist on the 2018 season of Big Brother Naija.

Born and raised in New Jersey, USA to Nigerian parents, she attended Elementary School until she was accepted into a program for Gifted and Talented Children. She then went on to the Accelerated and Enrichment Program for middle school and graduated from top magnet school, Dr. Ronald E. McNair Academic High School.


Her Education

She graduated from the 5th best public university in the US, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, with a Bachelors of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science, Sport Administration track.

She then went on to the University of Central Florida’s DeVos Sport Business Management program, SportBusiness International's #1 best sport masters program in the world, to graduate with both a Master of Business Administration and Master of Sport Business Management.



Before entering the Big Brother Naija house, she was the Head of Operations for the Continental Basketball League, the first private basketball league headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Currently, she is an actress, model, even host, on-screen  and social media host/presenter, influencer, educator, public speaker, and humanitarian. She was the Project Lead, Arts and Special Projects at ElectHER, a non-partisan organization working to increase female representation in politics. Prior to ElectHER, she was the program manager for the Kunle Afolayan Productions Film and Television Academy, where she handled the day to day operations of the Academy. 

She is the co-owner of the Anto Lecky X Taries Hair Builder luxury haircare line, a management and marketing consulting company, Room 22 Agency, and a gifting and branding outlet, O’Compatriots Lifestyle Co. She serves as the Creative Director for Weldios University, the fastest growing bilingual private university in Cotonou, Benin Republic. She is the founder of The Live Wire Project, an NGO focused on making a difference one person at a time, with its major campaigns “Edo Babes are Fly” that promotes girl child education, empowerment and skills acquisition to reduce the rate of gender-based violence and sex trafficking in Edo State and “Arise N Vote”, an influencer-led campaign encouraging Nigerians to register to vote.

Her professional expertise is in management, marketing, operations, and sponsorship. She is a known advocate for natural and healthy lifestyle, sports, education, good governance, and the girl child and women’s affairs.

In 2016, she was awarded a Nigerian Meritorious Award for Excellence in Sport. In 2018, she received the 2018 BTDT Hub Education Advocacy Award and also received the Miss Tertiary Institution Pageant South-South Award of Honour.

She was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from ISCOM University, Benin Republic that same year.
